Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort is a place of wide, open spaces with a build area of only 5% . The resort has over 1800 apartments overlooking the magnificent par 72 golf course. It is a resort designed to give a sense of real freedom and to provide an experience of nature in all its glory. In addition it has a historical touch allowing residents to experience the romantic past of the area. Within the resort is the historic Hacienda Riquelme Manor House, an eighteenth century building which houses the Resorts Town Centre.

Golf Course

The 18-hole Hacienda Riquelme golf course runs between Olive trees, wild flower meadows and large lakes. Due to the large size of the course, Hacienda Riquelme has wide fairways, strictly contoured greens and well-defined bunkers. Unlike the other courses on the Nicklaus Golf Trail, the course at Hacienda Riquelme has been sown with the latest variety of Paspalum grass thereby reducing the need for large quantities of water for irrigation. The Hacienda Riquelme properties consist of 2 bedroom apartments all overlooking the golf course, there are communal swimming pools and the properties also have private underground car parking.

Location

Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort is in the borough of Sucina, in an ideal spot only 15 minutes by car to the beaches of the Mar Menor . Although the resort is located in the country and it only 30 minutes to the Cities of Murcia and Cartagena.

Beaches

With over 200km of sandy beaches stretching from the warm crystal clear waters of the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean beaches of the La Manga Strip, across the craggy cliffs and coves of the Calblanque Natural Park and down to the sweeping bays of the Mediterranean resort of Aguilas, the Costa Calida (warm coast) has a wealth of beaches. Los Alcazares has one of the most beautiful Blue Flag beaches on the Costa Calida. Located 15-20 minutes from Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort. It’s palm lined promenade stretches approximately four kilometers to Los Narejos. Dotted along the Los Alcazares and Los Narejos promenade there are several wooden beach bars "chiringuitos", where you can relax with a jug of sangria and watch the world go by. Lo Pagan & Santiago De La Ribera is also situated 15 minutes from Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort. With two stunning beaches on the Mar Menor are adjoining and provide hours of enjoyment for the whole family. There are parks for the children, tapas bars and seafood restaurants on the beach as well as a wealth of water sports including canoeing, kite surfing etc. From the yacht club in Santiago De La Ribera you can take the ferry to the Tomas Maestre Marina, on the La Manga strip. This is a very pleasant 40 minute journey, and runs every tour.
