Golf Course

La Torre Golf Course designed by Jack Nicklaus is an 18 hole, par 68 course with four sets of tees which means it caters for all standards of players . The course has 6 par 3 holes which will test most golfers with 3 lakes to contend with and closely guarded greens. The lush green fairways and landscaping ensures that all golfers will enjoy this course although the large sand traps will collect the stray shots. Location

La Torre Golf Resort is only 15 Km from the best beaches of the Mar Menor. The beautiful city of Murcia is only 20 minutes by car and a trip to the old part of the city with its beautiful cathedral is worth a visit The city also has 2 large shopping malls which will cater for the avid shoppers. The city of Cartagena is also 25 minutes by car and this naval port has been modernized to accommodate the tourists who visit the Roman Theatre museum and the various other attractions.

Beaches

With over 200km of sandy beaches stretching from the warm crystal clear waters of the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean beaches of the La Manga Strip, across the craggy cliffs and coves of the Calblanque Natural Park and down to the sweeping bays of the Mediterranean resort of Aguilas, the Costa Calida (warm coast) has a wealth of beaches. Los Alcazares has one of the most beautiful Blue Flag beaches on the Costa Calida. Located 15 minutes from La Torre Golf Resort. It’s palm lined promenade stretches aproximately four kilometres to Los Narejos. Dotted along the Los Alcazares and Los Narejos promenade there are several wooden beach bars "chiringuitos", where you can relax with a jug of sangria and watch the world go by. Lo Pagan & Santiago De La Ribera is also situated 15 minutes from La Torre Golf Resort. With two stunning beaches on the Mar Menor are ajoining and provide hours of enjoyment for the whole family. There are parks for the children, tapas bars and seafood resturants on the beach as well as a wealth of water sports including canoeing, kite surfing etc. From the yacht club in Santiago De La Ribera you can take the ferry to the Tomas Maestre Marina, on the La Manga strip. This is a very pleasant 30 minute journey, and runs every tour.
